The Avengers. A movie that has had years of build up to it and great box office numbers. In my opinion, it was cinema genious and truly earned all that it has achieved, but I might be biased from my love of the Superhero sub-genre. Action packed and funny in the same movie, this movie featured favorite Marvel stars such as Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, HawkEye, Black Widow, Captian America, Director Fury, and villian Loki. People have varying opinions on who is the best and which two would make the best pair if there could only be two.
The actual movie was interesting and funny and held the audience perfectly. Villian Loki wants to take over the world using the Tesseract to transport an army to enslave the human race. Director Fury gathers together a team to try to stop Loki; The Avengers.
Honestly, I think this director is a genious and I wish we could get a sequel. At the end, if you stay after the credits, they set themselfs up for a possible sequel perfectly. They practically have people yelling at their doorstep for a sequel to be in production. I can't wait for this sequel to come out. Yet another genious? Hopefully so.
