Mystery Science Theater 3000:
A show that sounds absolutely ridiculous when explained, but just might be more ridiculous when watched. The show is about a man who is launched into space by his boss, who then tries to break his will by making him watch horrible movies. The man makes two robot friends and together they riff on whatever movie they are being forced to watch. The theme song basically explains everything that is happening.
I personally love this series and the hilarity of the robots. If you are ever in need for something really weird to watch, look this up and click on any of the episodes, just make sure you have some time to spare. This show is really strange in the fact that each episode is longer than the average movie. It is completely worth your time, though, and is just comic brilliance.
The ridiculousness of the movies often bring great screen shots for captioning, and the fandom around this show is just great. Mostly for the brilliance of the writers, but partially for the fans, great pictures like this are born. Enjoy!
