Reference Reel

A 12 part series that houses one of America's most famous movie threats. It also harbors one of the most sucessful merchandising franchises in America. All in all a sucessful record. But what of the actual movies? The famed killer Jason Voorhees, actually had 10 seconds of airtime in the first movie. He was the motive behind the killings, but none of them were actually him. Later in the series however, he pulls himself out of the lake he drown in and starts his own killing spree. Good movie, if you are a fan of old horror. In my opinion, we have been so desensitized to horror movies that it takes something like Paranormal Activity to creep us out and movies like these have lost their charm. However, if you do like the series, there is plenty out there to satisfy fandom.
